The Bike Safety Program that was held on June 15th was a success.  It was sponsored by the VFW of La Grange and Canton and presented by the Lewis County Sheriff's Department and La Grange Police Department.

Another huge success, Summer School was held at the La Grange Community Youth Center during the first two weeks of July, 2002.  The children participated in activities that helped with reading, writing and math skills and well as teaching them them to follow directions.

 

Buds and Blossoms -  Watching things grow

Buds and Blossoms is held at the La Grange Community Youth Center on Mondays from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.   It is organized and arranged by Sharon Feldkamp.  The children are introduced to new things each week, such as different types of plants and flowers and watching them grow.  The flowers in the picture above were donated by Keller's in Quincy, Illinois.
